Once the drawing’s complete, I’ll either scan it in to my computer (so I can work over top of it in Illustrator), or I’ll simply keep it beside me as a guide.  In this case, the images themselves aren’t complicated (it’s mainly comprised of circles), so there’s no need to scan this one in. The initial drawing is used simply as a template for me to follow in Illustrator.

This remains a side project, so the goal was/is to keep things as simple as possible (hence the circles).  The color pallet was ‘stolen’ from a project I did for Scientific American in 2016.

I already had the comic style panels so I kinda just ran with it.
